Dr. Cullan has been in practice since January 1, 2000. He began practicing law with his father, Daniel B. Cullan MD JD, one of the first physician/trial lawyers in the country. Their first trial together as a father-son trial team resulted in a record Six Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollar verdict ($6,700,000). Dr. Pat Cullan continues the strong tradition started by his father, and has recovered Tens of millions of dollars for catastrophically injured clients, including the largest wrongful death verdict in Nebraska History.

BARS: Licensed to practice Law in California and Nebraska.

MEMBERSHIPS: American Association for Justice, Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and Birth Trauma Litigation Group.

EDUCATION: Graduated from Creighton Prep High School (Cum Laude, 1992), in Omaha, Nebraska, Santa Clara University (B.A., Cum Laude, 1996), and the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 1999). After Law School Pat attended medical school in Ireland at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, graduating with honors in 2006. He completed training programs in the United States, Ireland and Germany. Pat also attended the Goethe Institute in Germany and completed the Grosses Deutsches Sprachdiplom.

The Royal College of Surgeons was one of the first medical schools chartered by the Queen of England in the 1700’s. Today, it is a leader in medicine, surgery, and obstetrics around the globe. Pat performed his obstetrical training at Ireland’s National Maternity Hospital on Hollis St., where the active management of labor was invented. Also, Pat trained at the Waterford Regional Hospital and the Rotunda, the world’s first all Women’s hospital specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has obtained a separate degree in Obstetrics.

SPORTS/HOBBY: Pat played football and rowed crew at Santa Clara University, and was selected to the Nebraska All-State Football Team in 1992.

LAW HONORS: American Jurisprudence award (first in Class) for Contracts. Both Pat and Joe were invited to be Guest speakers at the 2009 Inner Circle of Advocates annual meeting, (the Inner Circle of Advocates is a collection of the 100 best lawyers in America).
